The 2020 election took place in an age of hyper-activism. Americans were consistently, and continue to be, eager to protest, march and vote for the issues that matter most to them. Starting on January 3, 2021, the 117th Congress convened and 70 new members were sworn in, with 60 in the House and 10 in the Senate.
