Legal system abuse creates unnecessary burdens and costs for consumers and businesses alike.

In a 2024 survey conducted by the Harris Poll, 86% of respondents agree that state and federal lawmakers should address legal system abuse, and 88% believe there should be full transparency and disclosure of all the parties with a financial stake in a civil lawsuit. The time for reform is now.

The Problem
Why It Matters
What Needs to Happen

Trial lawyers continue to use the threat of burdensome lawsuits for their financial gain with little or no benefit for consumers. Using manipulative tactics to influence the litigation process, trial lawyers flood our legal system with frivolous lawsuits that turn our courts into money-making machines for bad actors and investors who are often unrelated to a case.

The continued abusive practices by bad actors lead to higher damage awards and increased settlement costs—which get passed down to consumers and businesses in the form of higher prices for goods and services.

As lawmakers are considering Governor Kemp’s legal system abuse reform package (SB 68 & SB 69), we need Georgia consumers like you to use your voice and urge the legislature to support the passage of these bills.

We need your voice!

Send a letter today and urge the Georgia Legislature to vote YES on SB 68 & SB 69.
