Tell Lawmakers to STOP “Bad Faith” Bills in NY

Once again, the New York State Legislature is considering bad legislation – A7285-A/S6813-A –  that could drastically increase the number of lawsuits in our already strained court system and lead to higher costs for hard-working New Yorkers.

If passed, these bills would flood New York courts with costly litigation and increase costs for residents and businesses. A Milliman study found that a similar, but less extreme, legislation could increase premiums by $6.9 billion – a figure that could be much higher under these proposed bills.

Tell your legislator to OPPOSE A7285-A/S6813-A and help keep insurance costs down for New Yorkers.
